We are a specialty cut flower grower located in West Friendship, Maryland. Offering wholesale and retail flower sales by the stem, bunch, or bucket, we serve Howard County and surrounding areas. Life is short, get the flowers.

Hello there.

Hi, I’m Kristi. I grew up in Howard County, spent over a decade on Marylands Eastern Shore followed by a stint in Northern Virginia, and ended up back here for good in 2020. I farm and live in West Friendship with my husband, energetic young son, our crazy puppy, a couple of barn cats, several thousand honeybees, and some chickens. Loads of various wildlife, including lots of deer and groundhogs who like to eat flowers live here too, though they weren’t invited. Technically they were here first, so I guess I’m the one who wasn’t invited. Let’s stop splitting hairs.

We are here to provide fresh and locally grown flowers to our community, that are produced responsibly and without the use of pesticides or other harmful chemicals. We plant intentionally, with the goal of being an attractive place to live for the good bugs (who then eat the bad bugs). We do the minimal amount of tillage we can get away with, with a goal of building up our soils to leave the land better than we found it.

Did you know that over 75% of the flowers sold in this country are grown abroad? They are cut and then wrapped in plastic, packed into cardboard boxes, shipped out of water, take a couple of flights, eventually get put on a truck, then drive to their final destination several days after they were cut.

  • We grow over 50 types of cut flowers and foliage throughout the year, all field grown and available from late March-ish to October-somethingorother. Mother Nature is fickle and committing to exact dates has never been of interest to her.

  • In addition to our online ordering options, for 2025 you can find us Sundays at the Sykesville Farmers Market during the months of June and August. our flowers are sold wholesale through The Chesapeake Flower Exchange.

  • Are you looking to say I Love You, Happy Anniversary, Happy Birthday, Thank You, Sending Condolences, I’m Sorry, Thinking of You, or Just Because? Say it with one of our custom arrangements.
